Amanda Humphries-Ventura is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS Medicine at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas. She completed residency at the University of Cincinnati where she spent 4 years flying for Air Care and Mobile Care at the University of Cincinnati and this is where she permanently and hopelessly fell in love with flight medicine. She completed her EMS Fellowship at the University of New Mexico where she flew for Lifeguard Air Emergency Services. She is passionate about all things EMS but especially HEMS and promoting active involvement of EMS medical directors in the field with their providers. She is currently a first year faculty member at the University of Texas.
