This session will be insight into the healthcare system through the eyes of a Native American. Amanda will discuss her experiences while working as a flight paramedic, clinical manager, and educator. She will give a brief history of Native American history post-colonialization and how it impacts the way Native Americans experience our healthcare system. There will be a discussion of common misconceptions as well as a discussion on how the industry can be more mindful of the treatment of Indigenous People of the United States.
